The Atlanta Chapter of Heartfulness Institute and Swarganga Music Foundation
organized a media conference at the home of Sanjay Sehgal on Sunday, June
10, 2018. The media conference was well attended by local media
representatives, representatives of Atlanta Organizations and volunteers of
the Heartfulness Institute.

The attendees, after meeting and greeting each other at the informal,
light-hearted, convivial meeting enjoyed delicious snacks and thandai.
Sanjay warmly welcomed and thanked all for attending the meeting. This was
followed by a video of how relaxation is being taught in schools and how
Heartfulness Meditation is being practiced in over 130 countries. Sanjay, in
his articulate and relaxed manner, gave a brief overview of the Heartfulness
Institute, a non-profit global organization with thousands of certified
Heartfulness volunteers who offer free practices in the Heartfulness Way of
meditation.

Sanjay then briefly spoke about the 4th, and current, Global
Guide, Kamlesh D. Patel, also known as Daaji. He noted that the difference
between Mindfulness and Heartfulness Mediation is simply that the former
meditates on the mind whereas through Heartfulness meditation, the heart
regulates the mind. He then informed the gathering of the monthly
Heartfulness magazine and the Let’s Meditate Heartfulness app.
Sanjay recounted how he was drawn into meditation and lauded the beneficial
results of the Heartfulness meditation he has experienced.

He informed the gathering of the upcoming The Heartnotes event on June 30,
2018 and urged the attendees to help sell the tickets and ensure success of
the grand show.
A complimentary copy of the book The Heartfulness Way was given to the
attendees. After a brief photo session, all enjoyed the delectable lunch.
