Performance Booster for School-going Children
MATH & KIDS CENTER OPENS AT
CUMMING GA
Math & Kids Center, aimed at providing effective secondary
support to strengthen the educational careers of school-going
kids (K – 12th), was declared open by Ms. Sandra Andriakos of
Forsyth Chamber of Commerce. The grand inaugural function was
held on Sunday, June 6th, 2010 at 1205 Peachtree pkwy, Cumming,
GA 30041.
The concept of Math & Kids has been imaginatively created and
well-structured by its founders Snehal Badgujar and Neeta Sorte
and this fact was well appreciated by the Chief Guest Ms. Sandra
Andriakos who went around the center.
Between
12.00 Noon to 5.00 PM on the day of opening, nearly one hundred
enthusiastic parents accompanied by their kids visited the
center.
The immediate activities of the center will be Remedial
programs, Computer-based enrichment programs [K to 12th grade]
and Personalized tutoring programs in Mathematics, Reading and
Writing – all conforming to the National Level NCST curriculum
and Georgia curriculum.
The other highlight was the ABACUS program to train the children
in Mental Arithmetic which enhances the memory, concentration,
creative thinking skill and imagination.
Parents were particularly excited to know there will be an
individualized coaching for SAT examination. The constructive
suggestion by some parents to include CRCT preparation is
expected to evoke favorable response from the founders once the
present activities get streamlined.
To celebrate the opening ceremony, a free assessment test for
their kids was organized and this drew excellent response.
There was a festive air as parents and kids mingled with one
another, exchanged pleasantries and enjoyed the refreshments
with staff members.
What is of great interest is the strategic location of the
center on the other side of the GA 400, about 1.3 miles from
Avenue Forsyth Mall. The painstakingly set up infrastructural
facilities, availability of flexible schedule and the presence
of well-qualified teaching staff were the other salient features
that won all round appreciation from the parents.

What lends further credence to the bold innovation and
commitment of the founders is the center is not a mere
franchisee of a
well-known institution or the extension of an
existing brand name. The center’s sincerity is further reflected
in their uniqueness to conduct personalized summer coaching
programs with no more than 5 students to a class and at an
affordable fee of $75 per month per program.
