On March 23rd, 13 Hindu Bhutanese met with a fatal & tragic auto accident that killed 2 and critically injured 13. Santan Mandir (SM)  has decided to collect donations to help these Bhutanese families affected by this tragedy. After collecting all the donations & pledges from SM devotees we will forward 100% of the funds to Sewa International for the benefit of the affected families.

 

Swadesh Katoch of Sewa International & Sneha Mehta are in touch with the Bhutanese community & have visited the injured in the hospital in Macon & also visited families of the 2 deceased.

 

According to Swadesh's latest update: Some of the injured will not be able to work and they will not have any income to pay their rent.  7 families need financial support to pay their rent for next 3 to 5 months. Average rent of $700 x 7 = $4900 a month is needed. They would like to collect donations of $15,000 for immediate needs.
