Anupama Shankar in her own words - I am originally from Mumbai but have called Atlanta home since 2002. I think Atlanta is a wonderful place and we have been lucky to forge deep friendships and connections. I am a scientist, wife and mother of twins, love books, music, dance, good food, travel and a hot cup of adrak- wali chai! Like many of us, I straddle two cultures, but feel a strong pull to my roots.

Darshan P. Kaur (known as Dippy to herfriends) has lived in Atlanta for the past 21 years and presentlyresides in Alpharetta. She is an IT Sourcing & Vendor Managementprofessional. Darshan is very actively involved in the desicommunity and has volunteered for various community organizationsover the years. She is an active volunteer for Desi Senior Citizensprogram. Darshan has performed in several community theatre playsover the last 15 years. Besides acting, Darshan loves to sing andwrite and is currently writing her first book.
