Yajurved
Mahayajnya at Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple

The Greater Atlanta Vedic Temple celebrated its annual flagship event, the
Mahayana on May 1st , 2022 with vedic chants at the Greater Atlanta
Vedic Temple in Lilburn, GA.

This year's Mahayana was based on Yajurveda, with chants to invoke unity,
purity and peace. It was made possible by the selfless efforts of many
volunteers.

The purifying and fragrant herbs offered to the holy fires , to Vedic
chants, did indeed sanctify the atmosphere, invoking the ancient Vedic
practices of maintaining the environment for all living beings.

This most holy of acts, was officiated by the very erudite Acharya
Hariprasadji, who kept the audience in attention by expounding the mantras
in a way relevant to today's times.

The function was graced by chief guest , the eminent physician Dr
Subrahmanya Bhat, who was presented a book by noted philanthropist Dr
Chandora.
All in all the event was a grand success and a reminder to humanity of the
interconnectedness of all things, and of man's sacred duty to all of God's
creation.
