Career GPS: How ElevateGen Helps Students
Navigate What’s Next
A group of young leaders in Forsyth County have started ElevateGen,
a new student-led platform designed to assist high school students, college
students, and early career seekers in developing professional skills,
exploring career paths, and gaining real-world experience in an era where
students are expected to navigate their future without the necessary tools
or experience.
Established in 2025 by a group of enthusiastic student organizers in
partnership with Idealogy Media and supported by community visionaries
Praveen Puram, Vinci Mathews, Nikki, Ram Akarapu, Aravind and Lakshmi
(Lucky). The platform is built on the belief that students thrive when given
early access to opportunity. ElevateGen connects individuals at or above the
high school level with volunteer opportunities, internships, resume
workshops, and career-building resources — all curated by students, for
students. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and
experience by offering support to those who may not have established
networks or mentorship opportunities.

“We believe students shouldn’t have to wait until college or beyond to find
their purpose,” said an ElevateGen officer. “ElevateGen is about turning
ambition into action and creating a future where every student feels
prepared, supported, and inspired.”
The platform is designed to be both professional and engaging, blending
career-readiness education with youth-driven creativity. In addition to
connecting students to internships and mentorships, ElevateGen shares resume
and interview tips, hosts speaker panels, and offers online resources for
personal and professional development. Their mission is to empower students
to take control of their futures by giving them the tools, access, and
support they need early on.
The team encourages professionals, companies, and educational institutions
interested in supporting emerging talent to reach out and collaborate.
