TiE Atlanta Young Entrepreneurs (TYE)
win 1st place at the Global Competition

Terra Bacter's mission is to help farmers, end hunger and save the planet by providing an alternative, eco-friendly bioremediation technique to efficiently lower the acidity level of affected soils.

After 9 amazing months of education, mentorship, pitch sessions and winning the local competition at TiECON SE in April, team Terra Bacter beat 17 other teams from TiE's global chapter ecosystem. They are the first team to win this honor after presenting virtually. Special thanks to the team at TiE Vancouver for hosting the global competition this year.

TYE is one of five pillar programs that aim to foster entrepreneurship in high school students. The
Atlanta program will begin its 5th year in September 2014. We would like to thank everyone- TiE Atlanta stakeholders and the greater Atlanta entrepreneurial community-who have continuously given back to the TYE program over the past 4 years.
