Pongal, the annual harvest festival sponsored by Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam was held February 6^th, 2005. The Meadow Creek High School Auditorium was overflowing with over 500 members from different Indian community, all wanting to see and hear the star-studded performance of children, youth, and adults.

The program started with a social hour and lunch followed by a magnificent cultural program that lasted for two and half hours. A spectacular array of dances choreographed by professional performers offered a visual treat of glittery costumes, compelling music, and awesome dancing.

The program was a grand success and Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam on behalf of its members would like to thank all those who attended the program and the dedicated and hardworking volunteers. We especially want to thank the youth volunteers without whom the program would not have been a success. The enthusiasm and effort of the cultural program coordinators that went into producing these programs are truly commendable.
